Sevil Bozdogan

Sevil Bozdogan is a specialist in the plastics and chemicals industries with international experience across EMEA and Asia. Her experience includes key roles with global producers and distributors such as Hanwha, UNID Global, Ampacet, and most recently with the Irish distributor JL Goor Materials.

She holds an MSc (Hons) in Supply Chain Management, an MBA, and a BSc (Hons) in Science Education, complemented by certifications in Circular Economy, Net Zero, EPR, and Sustainability. In 2024, she received the Procurement Leader Award from CILT Ireland for her contributions to sustainable supply chain practices.

Her expertise includes:

• Material science, polymer processing technologies, and NPD
• Sustainability and regulatory application
• Commercial and supply chain leadership
• Applied research: Empirical research (to be published in Feb 2026) on the impact of EPR on purchasing practices of Irish plastic packaging producers, EPR regulations, the Irish EPR scheme, and the recycling industry; dissertation research on the Turkish chemical industry during the pandemic; and shorter academic studies on the Irish economy and global risks
